Three new MVP chairs recruited for Manchester & Trafford

Manchester and Trafford MVP chairs with our MVP network lead

We are delighted to welcome three brand new Maternity Voices Partnership chairs to our Greater Manchester & Eastern Cheshire MVP network.

Corinne Gabriel, Naomi Pemberton and Kinga Fuentes are all Manchester mums who want to help make a difference to maternity care for local women, birthing people and their families. They will be chairing three brand new Maternity Voices Partnerships covering Wythenshawe Hospital, St. Mary’s Oxford Rd and North Manchester General respectively. All three hospitals are now run by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

The establishment of Maternity Voices Partnerships (MVPs) for Manchester and Trafford will ensure people living in the area can give their feedback on local maternity care. The MVPs provide a forum for expectant and new parents to work together collaboratively with NHS staff to make improvements to maternity services.

The establishment of three new MVPs has been made possible by funding from Manchester Health and Care Commissioning and Trafford Clinical Commissioning Group working together with Voices For Choices CIC and Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
